Submit your video
yourHealth is now accepting video submissions from the community to provide another way for Australians to comment on health reform.
Videos that meet our terms and conditions and requirements below may be published in the yourHealth website.
All videos will be compiled and reported to the government prior to deciding what health reform should be undertaken.
In the fields provided in the upload form, please include the following information.
- In the Subject field:
Include the topic or subject of the video (for example Hospitals). - In the Message field:
Include your first name and either your postcode or state.

Video terms and conditions
By submitting video comments to the yourHealth website you:
- give permission for your video to be placed on the site (see Privacy statement) and affirm that the video represents your own work and does not infringe on the copyright of any other individual or organisation;
- acknowledge that your video will be subject to moderation by the Department of Health and Ageing (Department) based on adherence to terms and conditions before publication and therefore publication will not be immediate;
- acknowledge that your video may be edited for length and to remove visual or audible references to names, email addresses, private addresses or phone numbers that may breach your privacy or the privacy of others;
- acknowledge and give permission for your video to be used in perpetuity by the Department and/or the Government for any purpose.

If your video features individuals who are under the age of 18 please email yourHealth@health.gov.au to request a consent form that can be signed by a parent or guardian to allow the publishing of your video.
When contributing your views via video, please ensure that you:
- do protect your personal privacy and that of others by not including the personal information of either yourself or of others in your posts to the forum, (such as names, email addresses, private addresses or phone numbers);
- do comment on subjects relevant to the issues being consulted on;
- do represent your own views and do not impersonate or falsely represent any other person;
- do not abuse, harass or threaten others;
- do not make defamatory or libellous comments;
- do not use insulting, provocative or hateful language, sounds or images;
- do not use obscene or offensive language, sounds or images;
- do not upload material that infringes the intellectual property rights of others;
- do not upload multiple versions of the same video to the department;
- do not promote commercial interests in your video;
- do not include internet addresses or links to websites, or any email addresses, in your video; and
- do not upload overtly party political comment (eg. reference to candidates, fundraisers, support for political parties).
- do not incite, encourage or make reference to conduct that may constitute a criminal or civil offence or otherwise violate Australian law
Any videos that do not comply with these terms and conditions will not be published.
