The Department held an industry briefing for all potential BEP tenderers on Monday 17th January 2011 in Canberra.

The BEP will develop and deliver the benefits realisation and evaluation aspects of the Personally Controlled Electronic Health Record (PCEHR) system.

The introduction of a PCEHR will allow consumers to access their medical history online, boost patient safety, improve healthcare delivery and cut waste and duplication.
